The Men Were Assigned - Two to a Compartment

Here you can see Wesley's and fellow Equipment Guard's compartment
aboard the USS Dick Lykes. Note several things - the port hole
above the left bunk, (Wesley Jefferies') the fan also above his
bunk as well as two cases of Coke under his bunk. Was this a
cruise? Wesley and his comrades were in for a rude awakening
in a few weeks when they arrived in Vietnam. For those of us
who jetted over it didn't take quite as long but we experienced the
same thing.
