Wesley Jefferies was first assigned to the
7/8th Artillery at Ft Bliss, Texas. While with the 7/8th Artillery in
late 1964 the unit went on a training mission at White Sands, NM.
Note this is a towed 8 inch gun - did you ever train on one of these?
