Troops packed like sardines but not our outfit…So where too?

Ultimately we stopped at Cam Ran Bay and offloaded more troops and when we reached Vung Tau at the mouth of the Saigon River we were told that we were going ashore. We landed in landing barges and loaded on C-130’s that took us to Bien Hoa Airbase for transport by trucks to our staging area.
