Our Btry. Commander at the time had a reputation of not visiting with his troops and it was a standing joke among those of us whom he did visit that the remainder of the Btry referred to him as Capt. "What's His Name". Although, at one time I did know his name, I now join those who didn't. So this slide is of Capt. What's His Name (on the left) and Lt. Hutto reading their mail following mail call. They are sitting at the Command Bunder above ground bunker next to the FDC bunker. At the far right, laying on the ground is our Btry. mascot, George, who was deaf from having wandered under an 8" muzzle during a fire mission. The resulting implosion, blew out his hearing. (Mar 68)
